Our promise
Coolbot is made for kids, backed by humans, and enhanced by AI. Here is exactly what that means.
Where we use AI
- Making comics: we use AI as a creative tool for drafting art and ideas in Coolbot’s classic ink style. Every page is directed, edited, and approved by humans — parents, artists, and educators — before it reaches you.
- Coolbot’s story finder: replies are generated by an AI model playing Coolbot, and its job is deliberately narrow — you describe a situation, it gives one small practical suggestion and points to the Coolbot comic about it. It is not a companion or a confidant: it asks no personal questions, does not remember anyone between messages, will not hold an ongoing conversation, and hands anything heavy straight to a trusted adult instead of counselling.
Where we don't
- No AI decides what kids should feel or believe. The values in Coolbot’s stories are ours, on paper, reviewed by people.
- No chat messages are used to build profiles of children.
- No ads, no engagement tricks, no infinite feeds. Coolbot would rather you go outside.
